Directions | Pesticide storage: store in cool, dry, secure place and keep container tightly closed. Store container away from pets. This product is formulated in an oil bait. Prolonged exposure to air may turn oil rancid and reduce the attractiveness of the bait. Directions for use: It is a violation of federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Do not apply this product in a way that will contact any person or pet, either directly or through drift. Keep people and pets out of area during application. This product is not for use on crops, timber, plants or turf grown for sale or other commercial use, or for commercial seed production or for research purposes. Do not use this product on vegetable or other food crops. This product will retain its effectiveness for up to 3 months after the package has been opened. Outdoor use: This product controls acrobat ants, Allegheny mound ants, argentine ants, bigheaded ants, black turf ants, carpenter ants, citronella ants, cornfield ants, crazy ants, field ants, tire ants (imported and native), ghost ants, harvester ants, honey ants, lawn ants, little black ants, nuisance ants, odorous house ants, pavement ants, pharaoh ants, pyramid ants, southern ants, thief ants, white-footed ants and the Texas leafcutting ant. This product is for use on lawns, landscaped areas, ornamental gardens, forested areas, and other noncropland areas such as airports, roadsides, cemeteries, commercial grounds, parks, school grounds, picnic grounds, athletic fields and other recreational areas, as well as on grounds surrounding poultry houses (excluding runs and ranges) or corrals and other animal holding areas. Avoid direct exposure of animals to the granules. Refer to the use rate table for directions. Do not graze or feed treated lawn or sod clippings to livestock. Use within 3 months after opening. |

However, this product should not be applied to wet ground or grass, or if rain is expected within 24 hours, or when temperatures are below 50 degrees F. Avoid leaving the bait exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods. During hot weather, application is best performed in the early morning or early evening when temperatures are cooler and ants are active. Check treated colonies/mounds for ant activity 30-40 days after treatment. Repeat applications as needed. Rate: 4 to 8 oz per average building (2,000 sq. ft. bldg.; 40 x 50 ft.) or 4 oz. per 180 linear ft. or 24 oz. per 1,080 linear ft. Comments: Apply in a band 1 ft. wide around the outside perimeter of the building. Treat areas such as porches, patios, driveways, sidewalks, flower gardens, and around trees, wood piles, dumpsites, and loading docks where ants are trailing, feeding or nesting. Concentrate treatment at visible ant trails as well as cracks or crevices where ants may enter the structure. Treatment: Individual mounds: Texas leafcutting ant. Rate: ¼ lb./colony. Comments: Locate the central concentration of mounds, indicating the location of the colony. Apply bait directly onto and around using a disposable spoon or measuring cup. Do not contaminate kitchen utensils by use or storage. Do not apply more than 2.0 lb. per acre.
